I consider myself to be a seasoned breastfeeder. I nursed my oldest until he self-weaned around 2 years old, & my second son is 2 years old & currently breastfeeding once or twice a day.
4 years of breastfeeding means that I have breastfed here, there, & everywhere; & I am writing this in hopes that it will lessen fears & embarrassment & empower you to try/continue breastfeeding. (And at the bottom of this post there is a sponsored offer for free disposable nursing pads)
I have breastfed inside while working on the computer, eating, or sleeping.
I have breastfed outside on the porch & on park benches.
I have breastfed in restaurants.
I have breastfed in a parked car & while we were driving or sitting in traffic (me leaning over the carseat :-p)
I have breastfed on a boat.
I have breastfed on the beach.
I have breastfed while walking (thanks to the Ergo).
I have breastfed in church.
I have breastfed at the mall.
I have breastfed at birthday parties & holiday parties.
I have breastfed at amusement parks.
I have breastfed in front of friends, relatives, & strangers. I even had a full conversation with the cable guy while nursing.
So go ahead… Feed your baby. You can be modest, but there is no need to feel overly embarrassed. Do what you need to do for you & your baby 🙂
Now for the free breast pads…
I used disposable nursing pads with my first son, which got expensive very quickly! When I was pregnant with my second son, I wisened up & got these disposable nursing pads. I stand behind them 100%, which is why I am sharing this free offer with you.
This is an affiliate offer for 10 FREE pairs of Designer Breast Pads ($35 Value). You will need to pay for S&H, but it is about the cost of one box of disposable breast pads so still very frugal.
